Lila Hotel

Lila Hotel Ancestral home, not really a hotel. A page where visitors can write about Bohol. He said that the house was like a hotel with rooms always waiting for occupants.

This is actually not a real hotel, but I'm setting up this page as a record for all who've been our ancestral home's guests :-)

The name "Lila Hotel" was coined by one of my officemates (who goes by the name of Gerardo Lita) who was able to stay twice at the house. Although a running joke among us, the name has stuck since then. After all, there is truth to his statement. The ancestral home has seen visitors come and go.

Kaya bawal ang magtayo ng cottage o kung ano pa man sa tabing dagat, ilog, lawa, o sapa within the required open space/zone (3 meters in urban areas, 20 meters in agricultural areas, and 40 meters in forest areas). Maraming lumalabag nito kasi minsan may basbas ng kapitan o mayor o madalas hinahayaan na lang. Please read PD 1067 Article 51.

*Nature-based solutions to flood management
*Helps boost food security in coastal areas as they can support raising mudcrabs and other marine species.
*Acts as filter from runoff (soil and pollutants washed into the sea from land).

Learn from Getafe, where one of the largest mangroves in Asia is.

Wishing Lila would have more mangroves especially in areas with brackish waters -- where freshwater from rivers and streams mix with saltwater from the sea.

The BFAR Central Visayas has warned the public against consuming and collecting fish and other aquatic resources from and in areas affected by the recent wastewater spill in Bais City, Negros Oriental.

Please be guided accordingly.
