I gave my kitesurfing boards to my best boatman to use as wakeboards on our tours. saving up for wakesurfing equipment and would eventually like to stock up most of the boats, and waterskiis.

After two good years it seems my solar battery and main engine of site is dying. Was curious about the possibility of extending its life and was surprised to learn about desulphaters. Bought a cheap one from ebay to try and downloaded info for locals to make their own. So many batteries lying around in the jungle and garbage heap, can hopefully save the lot of them! http://www.thedoityourselfworld.com/articles/article.php?id=11478

The rising ocean looked scary! Only the end of July and from last year I know that full moon around the end of November, December and January the waves got so high they buried my campfire area and came crashing to the edge of the jungle. I hope my hut will be safe this year. Asked some locals if the ocean level is rising but they just dismissed my question as coming from a silly foreigner. Hopefully they're right!

Got tired of the rain and windy typhoon weather, so went ahead and bought myself a present! After all, rainy days are made for watching movies, but that can be a problem if you're surviving on solar energy!
