Pinapayagan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) magbukas ang mga itinuturing na “accommodation establishments” sa ilalim ng general community quarantine simula Hunyo.

Ayon sa ulat ng GMA News, kasama sa mga maaari na ulit mag bukas ay ang mga pribadong resorts sa Laguna na matatandaang naglabas ng kanilang hinaing kamakailan.

Batay sa IATF guidelines, maaaring magbukas ang mga nasa ilalim ng “accommodation establishments” hanggang sa 30% kapasidad. Ang mga bibisita ay kinakailangang 18 taong gulang hanggang 65, nakatira sa iisang kabahayan, hindi nagdadalang tao at walang comorbidities.

Paalala ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo Puyat, ang mga resort na mayroong accreditations lamang ang maaaring magbalik operasyon.

Ikinatuwa naman ng mga resort owners at mga manggagawa nito ang balita.

“Sobrang laki ng nalulugi sa ’min ngayon, almost millions or hundred percent ang nawawala sa ’min sa mga owners, caretakers kasi wala po kaming maipapasweldo sa kanila,” pahayag ni Ivan Mangubat, resort owner sa Pansol.
