A new 4-storey hospital in Mandaue City is planned and set to rise as part og the city's efforts to upgrade public healthcare services.
A new, modern four-storey Mandaue City Hospital (MCH) with approximately 257 beds is planned to be built to enhance healthcare capacity in the city.
The project is estimated at around ₱1 billion with funding from national budget allocations and pledges secured by city leaders.
The city government and implementing agencies are targeting to begin construction in 2026, once detailed engineering design and procurement are completed. The build-out will be done in phases as floors are completed, they will be made operational, allowing parts of the hospital to serve patients sooner while full construction continues.
The new hospital will rise within the compound of the current Mandaue City Hospital on Don Andres Soriano Avenue, with the existing facility remaining open during construction.
Once finished, the hospital aims to become a Level II facility, expanding services like inpatient wards, specialized units (e.g., ICU, dialysis), emergency care, and more for residents of Mandaue City and nearby areas. This project reflects Mandaue City’s push to improve access to modern healthcare and public health services for its growing population.
