At APA Wildlife, it’s all about care every single day.

Our team starts early by preparing the right food for each animal, so everything is ready for the keepers as the day begins. From there, animal keepers focus on cleaning enclosures, doing routine checks, feeding, and making sure everyone is healthy and comfortable.

The day stays active but organized, with each team member having an important role in keeping the park running smoothly. We’re always around—observing, assisting, and making sure every animal receives proper care.

It may look simple when you visit, but there’s a lot of teamwork happening behind the scenes.

Not a bear. Not a cat… but definitely one of the most interesting residents you’ll meet here at APA Wildlife!

The bearcat, also known as the binturong, is famous for its unique scent (they smell like popcorn or some even say pandan!) and a strong tail that helps it climb and hang around the trees.

They’re also a native species here in the Philippines and play an important role in our forests. As they move around and eat fruits, they help spread seeds, keeping our ecosystems healthy and helping forests grow 🌱
