DENR INABISUHAN ANG PUBLIKO NA HINTAYIN MUNA ANG LISTAHAN NG MGA COMPLIANT NA HOTEL BAGO MAGPA-BOOK

Inabisuhan ngayon ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang publiko na hintayin muna ang listahan ng mga compliant na mga establisyemento bago magpa-book sa re-opening ng Boracay sa October 26.

Magkakaroon din muna ng dry run bago ang re-opening para matukoy ang carrying capacity ng isla at mga establisyementong papayagan mag-operate.

Lilimitahan din muna ang mga foreign tourist sa dry-run period subalit papayagan naman ang mga Aklanon at local tourist na makapasok.

Ayon pa kay DENR Secretary Cimatu, pansamantalang hindi papayagan ang mga turista na mag-party sa beach.

Maaari parin namang mag-party ang mga ito pero sa loob na ng mga bar o establisyementona kanilang pinuntahan.

Samantala, kahilingan ng ilang hotel operators na habaan pa ang serbisyo ng One Stop Shop para ma-proseso ang ilang requirements tulad ng ECC.

Sakit din sa ulo ng mga negosyante ang mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng DENR ng STP sa mga hotel at resorts.

Nanindigan ang DENR na dapat sundin ang polisiya para mapangalagaan ang kalidad ng tubig sa Boracay na isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit ito isinara ni Pangulong Duterte.

Sa panghuli, paalala ng DENR na hintayin ang ilalabas na listahan ng Department of Tourism ng mga compliant establishments bago magpa-book ng hotel accomodation.
