“Budget Heaven”

"Coming into Boracay on 18 hours of travel, minimal sleep and a tight budget puts one in a tricky spot. Fortunately after taking some good advice off tripadvisor and other similar pages I avoided all the please to assist in finding me a room (you must insist on your "no" and don't feel bad being direct, add a thank you, it is their island that you are visiting after all). The accommodation is set a bit back from the beach, they have wonderful grassed area and spacious rooms. The rooms are for two people and have an aircon and fan in the room. The shower is decent (cold water only in my room, but was welcome against the heat). Also, kite surfers who are on a budget, this part of station 3 was kite surfing central in August. It is self catering, but making yourself breakfast every morning is quite rewarding if you are in Boracay and helps out that budget too. The fresh market has everything you need on cheap! smile emoticon
