Dear friends, family and guests!

The story of Surfing Carabao Beach Houses has come to an end.

We had 7 incredible years doing what we loved; offering simple yet comfortable accommodation in the quiet corner of Siargao to travellers from all corners of the world. And we’re proud to say our guests loved it too, our 9.1 / 10 rating on Booking.com and other praising reviews on different platforms will warm our hearts for years to come.

These years were full of happy moments as well as challenges but we are grateful for our loyal staff and community in Siargao for sticking together through the hard times.

The resort is here to stay and will continue to operate as usual under new management of our friends at Ferra Siargao. All confirmed bookings will be seamlessly transferred and their team will take great care of anyone visiting the resort in the future.

Beach Front Holiday Home for a group of 4? 🌊🏠🌴

Our Villa Amakan 1 is the perfect option for a group of friends or family.

This 2 storey villa with 1 queen bed and 2 single sofa beds, private bathroom and AC (upstairs) is suitable for max 4 people. There's a spacious patio with garden/sea view in the second floor. Guests can use our outdoor garden kitchen and BBQ area to prepare home cooked meals.

To accommodate a group of up to 7 pax you can book both Villa Amakan 1 & 2. 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👩‍👧

First month after our reopening flew by so fast!

We have exciting news!

We got connected back to electricity last week, 3 months after typhoon Odette devastated the whole island of Siargao.

We will be officially reopening Surfing Carabao 1st April!

To celebrate we offer 20% off room rates for all stays in April (book by 31st March).

Photos the day after typhoon and today of our beach kubos.

Our staff has been hard at work replacing the damaged roof, scrubbing the kubos inside and out from floor to ceiling, repainting and hand washing all textiles (as we still don’t have electricity).
So we are happy and proud to announce the kubos are ready for guests again!
We are expecting to be reconnected to the power within the next week. 🙌

What a journey it has been since Dec 16, 2021 to almost two months after. Today we celebrate this little milestone, as well as the Philippines opening it’s borders to foreign visitors! Hope to see you soon!

Dear guests and friends of Surfing Carabao, we want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

Because of your kind and generous donations we have been able to help our staff and several other families to re build their homes after the destruction left behind by the typhoon.

Our fundraiser totalled at 251,260php and we have so far spent the following:

Construction materials 93,300
Chain saw operator (for coco lumber) 5,000
Household relief packs 35,900

Total spent: 134,200
Total remaining: 117,060

We are happy to let you know that all our employee’s families now have solid roofs to shelter them from the rain and winds we have been experiencing the past weeks. Two of our staff still need their kitchen and toilet facilities rebuilt, and we will be assessing how to direct the remaining funds to people in most need.

We will now be CLOSING our fundraising, and update you again once all donations have been distributed.

However there are still many families needing support. Please continue to support the recovery of the island by donating to wonderful initiatives such as and who continue to feed and bring immediate aid to the worst affected and far away communities of the island.
