Indeed, every ending does usher in a new beginning. Let’s unveil the story of a student who worked at a fast-food chain before becoming the boss of her own business today.

Meet Annamarie, a dedicated 4th-year Hotel and Restaurant Management student who founded her own online business that sells bread and pastries after resigning as a service crew at a fast-food chain to make money while doing what she loves.

She started selling banana bread as an introductory product of her business – Hungry High. Because of its wonderful taste with just the right hint of sweetness, her initial product became a hit, especially with the elderly. Her customers also think her goods would make a wonderful gift for their loved ones. After a week or so, her friend requested to her to bring some baked goodies to their meet-up. She decided to make her recipe of filling for the donuts that her family sells. Her friends liked the taste and they suggested including the donuts with fillings to her menu too. Along the way, she also started selling crinkles due to popular demand.

Hungry High is expanding and will continue to grow in the future. Her products have made her clients so happy that they have returned to order more. After all, as Ellen Rose said “Pastries are like books, there are new ones you want to read and old ones you want to reread.”
