CONTEST MECHANICS:
1. The photo contest is open to all (locals or tourists) individuals currently in Camiguin for the Holy Week, male or female, aged 18 and up.
2. Participants must have both a Facebook and an Instagram account. Participants must like and follow the Camiguin Tourism page and Instagram account before submitting their “Panaad” photo.
3. Participants must post a photo of their meaningful “Panaad” experience in Camiguin this Holy Week on their Instagram account, and link it to their Facebook account. The post must be set to public on both Instagram and Facebook.
4. Include a title and a caption (not more than 100 words) of your photo.
For the entry to be valid, tag: in your Facebook and Instagram post and include the following #’s:
5. Valid entries will be reposted on Camiguin Tourism page starting March 26, 2018 (Holy Monday) until March 31, 2018 (Black Saturday), 8PM ONLY.
6. Ask your friends to LIKE your entry (the one reposted on the Camiguin Tourism Office page). Each Facebook LIKE counts as one (1) vote.
7. Criteria for judging: 70% votes / likes, 30% Camiguin Tourism Office Team’s choice (based on photo appeal and caption)
8. The winners will be announced on the Camiguin Tourism Office page on April 1, 2018 (Easter Sunday), 12NN.
9. Winners will be notified via direct message on Facebook and Instagram.
10. Winners can claim their prize on the day of the announcement of the winners (April 1, 2018).
11. To claim the prize, the winner must present the notification from the Camiguin Tourism Office representative (direct message on Instagram or the announcement on Facebook) together with at least two (2) valid IDs: Passport, Driver’s License, SSS or GSIS ID, PhilHealth ID, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, or Company ID.
12. If the participant or his or her duly authorized representative does not personally claim the item/s sought to be redeemed within the redemption period, the item/s to be redeemed shall be forfeited in favor of the Camiguin Tourism Office.
13. Promotion period is from March 25, 2018 to April 1, 2018 ONLY.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Open to all Filipino citizens or foreigners, of legal age (at least 18 years old and above), who are currently in Camiguin at the time of joining.
2. Each participant joining this promotion confirms, agrees to, and acknowledges that:
A. He or she has read the full mechanics of this promotion and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the same; and
B. The Camiguin Tourism Office is permitted to receive all personal information supplied by him or her, which will be used by the Camiguin Tourism Office in accordance with its privacy policy.
COPYRIGHT
By joining the contest, participants irrevocably grant to the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMIGUIN and the CAMIGUIN TOURISM OFFICE all rights to the entries, including rights to reproduce, publish, exhibit, and use the entries in any manner or format for any marketing, promotions, auction, broadcast advertising, programming, charitable purposes, commercials, and publicity, in any and all forms of media worldwide in perpetuity, and without compensation or considerations, and without additional consent from the participants or from any third party.
In submitting entries, participants expressly consent, assign, waive, and concede any and all rights of ownership over the same in favor of the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMIGUIN and the CAMIGUIN TOURISM OFFICE. The PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMIGUIN and the CAMIGUIN TOURISM OFFICE, however, shall acknowledge the name of the participants when reproducing, publishing, auctioning, broadcasting, and using their entries.
PANAAD IN CAMIGUIN DETAILS:
Beginning March 25, pray and walk your way around the island passing through the 14 Stations of the Cross, while seeing a 360° breathtaking view of Camiguin.
Each station also features artworks in different medium by local artists. They will showcase their own interpretation of their assigned Station of the Cross.
Panaad starting point will be at Benoni Port, Mahinog. At the registration booth, a short briefing and orientation will be done as well as the distribution of maps for the Stations of the Cross. Registration opens from 6AM until the arrival of the last ferry.
