Davao Oriental, August 2, 2025 — Governor Nelson L. Dayanghirang officially unveiled the Davao Oriental Tourism Website during the launching of Davao Oriental Integrated Media.

Tourism is a key focus in Governor Dayanghirang’s ten-point agenda, as he believes it is a dynamic economic driver that brings business and leisure together. Reflecting this vision, Acting Provincial Tourism Officer Atty. Lovella Fe M. Tacder, gave local media professionals an exclusive first look at the platform’s sleek, mobile-friendly interface — a modern hub built to spotlight the best of what the province has to offer.

More than just a listing site, the new tourism platform is designed to showcase Davao Oriental’s hidden gems, cultural festivals, natural attractions, and local hospitality businesses. From eco-tourism adventures to community-driven events, the website will serve as a digital gateway for both residents and visitors.
But the platform will not grow on its own — it needs partners.

To fully populate the site and its upcoming mobile app, the Provincial Tourism Office will immediately post a call for listings to all tourism-related establishments to take part.

“This is not just a government project — it is a collaborative movement,” said Atty. Tacder.

“We will help promote your business, but we need you to help us build this platform.”

Once launched, the app will allow users to share travel photos, post reviews, and connect with local experiences — making Davao Oriental more discoverable than ever before.
