Visayan Electric’s residential rate for June 2026 is ₱13.74/kWh, reflecting a ₱0.86 increase from last month’s rate of ₱12.88/kWh. This adjustment is primarily driven by higher generation charges resulting from tight power supply conditions and increased electricity demand across the Visayas Grid.

While transmission charges—which account for only a portion of your total bill—declined this month, the increase in generation costs from power suppliers led to the overall rate adjustment.

Despite these external cost pressures, Visayan Electric continues to prudently manage its power supply portfolio and work closely with power suppliers, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to support grid reliability and help mitigate the impact of market conditions on customers.

We also encourage households to practice energy-efficient habits to better manage electricity consumption and monthly expenses.

3. Cebu City – all levels in both public and private schools
