General Purpose
Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provides 1st level technical assistance based on the end user requirements via (web ticketing, email, phone, remote and chat).
• Handles product activation product ownership transfers as well as trade-in product subscription activations.
• Performs in-house support for customers.
• Responsible for product registration, license activation and re-activation.
• Escalates RMA (Return Merchandize Authorization) of defective appliances via APAC Support.
• Handles trial activation and extension for product appliances via APAC
• Escalates license extensions to APAC support for POST sales requests.
• Performs product presentation via meetings and private events.
• Retrieves appliance logs and reports and creates a technical report analysis based from the data extracted.
• Collaborates with technical team to resolve issues encountered before and during POC's.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good customer handling background.
• Good technical and product background.
• Intermediate technical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct problems related to security and permission.
• Organize and analyze user requirements at a professional level.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office and Powerpoint.
• Willing to do overtime work
• Proactive work attitude
• Must be professional towards people and work.
• Documentation skills in writing application security policies, procedures and standards.
• Ability to provide customer relations.
• Strong people skills, customer service attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Willing to work in Binondo, Manila
