A simple request from a wife: green, blue, and white for her husband's 52nd birthday. 💙🤍💚
We took those colors and turned them into a fresh garden table setup -cool, relaxed, and intimate, just enough to make the celebration feel extra special without taking away from what truly mattered: family, stories, and another year worth celebrating.
And right at the center of it all was our Bambuk Cake. 🎂🌿
Made from bamboo shoots, it's one of those creations that makes us proud of where we come from. A humble ingredient from Bukidnon transformed into something unexpected, delicious, and uniquely Alina.

With our villas built from nearly 90% bamboo, it's only fitting that bamboo shoots have always been part of our table too.
This simple ginataan combines fresh bamboo shoots, backyard-picked saluyot, and a touch of seafood. It's not part of our menu, just one of those dishes we grew up with.
Passed down from our lolas, cooked by our parents, and now enjoyed by our own families, it's a simple reminder that some of the best recipes aren't written in cookbooks, they're carried from one generation to the next.

This message came in early this morning.
Last night, a family from Agusan del Norte celebrated a very special milestone with us, a 30th birthday.
What stayed with us was one particular line:
"We thought it's just a pure staycation. Didn't know it was truly a full superb welcoming service."
Truth be told, that's exactly what we hope every guest feels.
The villas, the views, the food, the amenities, those are important. But what we've always believed makes Alina special are the people behind every welcome, every meal served, every room prepared, and every little detail noticed.
To our birthday celebrant and her family, thank you for making the trip to Bukidnon and allowing us to be part of such a meaningful celebration. And thank you for taking the time to send this message after what sounded like a wonderful dinner and an even more wonderful time together.
