This NGCP-scheduled power service interruption is for the annual maintenance and testing of NGCP Alas-asin 100MVA power transformer and transmission line.

PENELCO will also be having parallel activities, which includes fixing sagging lines in Alas-asin and preventive maintenance around Mariveles area.

TO OUR VALUED GUESTS FOR AUGUST 2023:

As you may already know, the entire province of Bataan was placed under a State of Calamity* last July 29. It is unfortunate that the continuous and heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon and typhoons Egay and Falcon caused serious damage to the property. As it stands, some ceilings and walls leak, making the rooms uncomfortable but potentially unsafe if the rains continue. Even as of writing, we are still being hounded by heavy rainfall and strong winds, so we are unable to carry out the repairs.

We understand the disappointment and frustration this news may bring, but we prioritize our valued guests' safety and comfort so we are forced to make this difficult decision.

Guests with check-in dates falling between August 2 and August 6, 2023 may 1) request a full refund**, or 2) reschedule the reservation for a later time***. Alternatively, you may proceed with your booking, although we strongly advise against it.

HOW TO CLAIM TOURIST PASS

Attention to everyone who wishes to travel and visit Mariveles' tourist destinations, INCLUDING resorts and hotels, please be reminded that you first need to complete, process, and submit all the requirements posted below to Mariveles Tourism office, located at Mariveles People's Park OR send it via email at [email protected]

You may only process your tourist passes every weekday - Monday to Thursday from 9AM-4PM, and Friday from 9AM-3PM, EXCEPT Holiday. Please make sure to complete all your requirements before submitting them to us furthermore, please claim your tourist passes first before proceeding to your actual tour to prevent any problems or casualties from arising. We strongly advise that you process your requirements few days before the exact date of your tour.

FAQ's
1. Pwede bang hindi na kumuha ng travel pass sa Barangay kapag may COVID Shield na galing sa PNP?
- Yes, pwede po.

2. Pwede bang sa private clinic manguha ng medical certificate?
- Yes, as long as licensed physician/registered nurse/registered midwife ang gagawa ng physical check-up

3. Hanggang kailan ang validity ng TRAVEL PASS?
- Depende sa inaallow ng Barangay/Municipality/City kung ito ay for SINGLE/MULTIPLE USE. Merong for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 1 month.

4. Hanggang kailan ang validity ng MEDICAL CERTIFICATE?
- Ang med cert ay valid lamang ng 3-days bago ang travel date.

5. Hanggang kailan ang validity ng RT-PCR?
- Ang RT-PCR ay valid lamang ng 2-days bago ang travel date. Hindi po kami tumatanggap ng SALIVA TEST O RAPID TEST/ANTIGEN TEST.

6. Pwede po bang magpasa ng requirements online?
- Yes po pwede po thru email or thru our page. UPDATE lang po na mula ngayon, lahat ng magpapasa ng requirements online ay kailangan pa ring ipasa sa amin ang original copy kapag kukunin na ang tourist pass. Ito po ay para masiguro namin na hindi peke/edited ang mga dokumentong pinapasa sa amin.

7. Pwede bang makuha online ang Tourist Pass?
- Hindi po kami nagrerelease ng soft copy ng Tourist Pass. Maaari niyo pong makuha ang Tourist Pass sa aming opisina tuwing weekday, Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM

8. Sino po ang pwedeng manguha ng Tourist Pass kung hindi po namin makukuha/hindi kami available/taga ibang lugar kami?
- Pwede pong makuha ng inyong Tour Organizer, Tour Guide, Bangkero, any contact person sa inyong accommodation (kung meron po kayong nakausap). Pwede ring kamag-anak o kakilala na nakatira sa Mariveles. Magpresent lamang po ng proof thru conversation/message/authorization letter ang contact person na inyong nakausap na pinapayagan niyo silang manguha ng inyong tourist pass.

9. Ang mga frontliner/LGU employees po ba ay pwedeng hindi na manguha ng tourist pass?
- Hindi po. Ang LAHAT po ng papasok sa point of entry ng Mariveles ay kailangan pong kumuha ng tourist pass sa aming opisina. Hindi po kami nagbibigay ng EXEMPTION sa kahit na sino.

10. Ilang taon po ang pwedeng magconduct ng tour sa Mariveles?
- Between 10-65 years old lamang po ang pwedeng magtravel sa kahit saang Mariveles tourist destination.

11. Ano po bang purpose ang dapat na ilagay sa travel pass o medical certificate?
- Mahigpit po naming pinagbabawal ang kahit anong travel pass o medical certificate na hindi for LEISURE/RECREATIONAL/VACATION purposes. Dapat po ay klaro na nakalagay sa papel ang purpose na ito. Kung hindi po pumapayag ang Munisipyo/Barangay ninyo na magrelease ng travel pass/med cert for leisure purposes ay huwag niyo pong ipilit. Hindi po kayo pwedeng magtravel. Kapakanan lamang po ninyo ang iniisip namin.

PUBLIC ADVISORY!

Please be advised that though the Travel Pass may have a month validity, we can only issue Medical Certificate that is good for three days. Therefore, after the expiration of the Medical Certificate they will have to secure a RT-PCR Negative Result so they will not be quarantined in our facility. Moreover, Medical Certificate from LGU of Origin will still be quarantined as per EO 060-A.
