Our repeat guest Sarah Lumang Medilo was so inspired by the dragonflies in Kapusod (which help protect guests like her family from mosquitoes) that she gifted us with this unique and elegant lamp. Thank you to her and her friends with the Juan Portrait photography collective.

(Dragonflies are the apex predator of mosquitoes, meaning they are the most efficient hunters of mosquitoes and an effective ecological solution to a widespread public health menace. But dragonflies need clean water bodies with plants to breed. Kapusod does not fumigate with toxic chemicals; instead we maintain dragonfly havens like our natural pool.)
