THREE MONTHS OF CASA BAWUD 🏡✨🧡
On May 23, we opened the doors of Casa Bawud to our very first guests.
And now, looking back at May, June, July, and August, we can only say...
God has been so, so good. 🙏🏼
Every ❌ on these calendars represents a booking.
A family spending time together.
Friends making memories.
Kids running around the house.
Guests coming to enjoy Dahican.
People who took a chance on a new little stay, came back, recommended us, and shared kind words about their experience.
When we first opened, we honestly didn't know what to expect.
So seeing these calendars now feels a little surreal. 🥹
But Casa Bawud's story actually started before we ever welcomed a guest.
Casa Bawud was our family's very first home. 🧡
We bought it simply because we wanted a comfortable little place of our own... somewhere our family could rest, raise our kids, make memories, and call home, reset and begin anew.
Eventually, we decided to open its doors and share that home with others.
And three months into this little business, we're realizing just how much God can do with something so simple.
Casa Bawud has become more than an additional source of income for our family.
It has allowed us to provide work for others.
And from the little profit it makes, we've also been able to set something aside to give, donate, and share when we can.
Nothing grand.
Nothing we ever planned Casa Bawud to become.
Just our little home... being used by God to provide for us and, in small ways, allowing us to share that provision with others too. 🙏🏼🧡
And that is something we're deeply grateful for.
We're grateful for every booking.
We're grateful for every guest who trusted us.
We're grateful for the people who help us take care of this home.
We're grateful that we're able to give a little from what we receive.
And most of all, we're grateful to God for His provision through it all.
Casa Bawud will always be a home first... our very first home. 🏡
A home our family has actually lived in, loved, made messy, rested in, and made memories in.
And now, a home we're blessed to share with all of you. 🌊🧡
So as we celebrate our first three months, we wanted to give a little something back to the guests who became part of Casa Bawud's beginning.
