It is with profound sadness that we confirm an accidental drowning occurred at our resort this morning, November 4, 2025. Despite the coordinated efforts of our staff, several guests, and the responding medical team, the individual was, regrettably, pronounced deceased at the scene.
Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends who are grieving this unimaginable loss. We are devastated by this event, and our entire team is mourning alongside those affected. We are fully cooperating with the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident and are in close communication with the family of the deceased to extend our assistance during this difficult time.
Simultaneously, we are undertaking an internal review to ensure all safety protocols are reinforced and upheld to the highest standard. We acknowledge the concerns raised regarding our lifeguards not being in uniform at the time of the incident, and we wish to emphasize that our lifeguards responded immediately and performed their duties without hesitation. Nonetheless, we recognize the feedback and will review our safety procedures to further improve our visibility and operational readiness.
At this time, our priority is to support the bereaved family and our team, and we will not rest until the investigation is concluded and preventative measures can be put into place.
We are also truly thankful to the guests who selflessly stepped forward to help during the emergency. Please know that your cooperation and presence of mind made a difference in an incredibly difficult time.
