We are a small, family-run, accredited resort with ONLY 5 ROOMS. You can see photos, videos and more on our Website: www.CaliforniaCoralBeachResort.com . We offer the nicest rooms available on Alubihod Beach in a relaxed atmosphere at very competitive rates.
THE ROOMS:
There are two GARDEN ROOMS which are on the ground floor facing the gardens just steps from the Beach. They are next door to each other with adjoining, lockable, double doors. A Garden Room has 1 single and 1 queen bed and is 2,800 for 2 people. Additional persons are 400 pesos each. The maximum allowed in each room is 5 people. An extra single mattress pad with bedding is available for an additional 300 pesos (if desired).
There are two HILLVIEW ROOMS which are upstairs on the third floor facing the hillside above the gardens with a narrow/partial view of the Sea. They are next door to each other with adjoining, lockable, double doors. A Hillview Room has 2 queen beds and is 3,200 pesos for 2 people. Additional persons are 400 pesos each. The maximum allowed in each room is 5 people. An extra single mattress pad with bedding is available for an additional 300 pesos (if desired).
There is only one BEACHFRONT BALCONY ROOM, which is the best room on Alubihod Beach, is on the 3rd Floor right over the Beach with a Fantastic View of the Beach, Boats, Water and Islands across the Bay from the 2 Large Windows and the Private Balcony. The Beachfront Balcony Room has one Top-Quality King-size Bed and a Larger Bathroom with Twin (His & Hers) Sinks and a roomy Walk-in Shower. This room is 3,800 pesos for 1 or 2 adults only.
FOOD
We do not have a restaurant, yet, and cannot provide prepared food, but there are three Public Restaurants on the beach (one next door) that serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We have a full-service Sari-Sari Store open daily with all the usual foods, drinks and other items for sale. Food is allowed in the rooms (sorry, no cooking in rooms). Guests may cook in the BBQ Area without charge (charcoal is available at the store). There is a minimal electricity charge for the use of your electric cooker (outside only).
CHILDREN, PETS, SENIORS, PWD
We are a Family-Friendly Resort. Children who can walk on their own are counted as people. No charge for infants who must be carried. Sorry, no pets. Seniors and PWDs who show identification and Senior/PWD cards will receive a 20% discount for their portion of the room rate. Only one discount may be used per stay.
AMENITIES
We offer the nicest rooms on Alubihod Beach. All rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with High Ceiling, Warm Shower, Air Conditioner, Ceiling Fan, Refrigerator, 55” HD Smart TV with Starlink Internet, WiFi, Electric Water Kettle, Complimentary Coffee & Bottled Water for two. The California Coral Beach Resort is right on the Beach, there are Gardens, a Bamboo Hut with Table for sitting in the shade while eating, drinking and relaxing, a BBQ area with a BBQ Pit, Sink & Table, and a Large Terrace on the Beach--all for guest use on a first-come bases at no additional charge. There is a Lifeguard Station on the Beach that also serves as a place to sign-up for Island Hopping. Check-in is after 2 PM and Check-out is before 12 Noon.
ISLAND HOPPING
Island Hoping on our 40-foot boat, the Seahorse, is available for 900 pesos for the first hour and 500 pesos for each additional hour for up to 10 people (Lowest Rate at Alubihod). Snorkel Equipment (when available) may be rented for a nominal fee (ask before boarding the boat). The captain knows the best places to see and visit depending on the tide and conditions, but you decide what you want and how long you stay. It’s a great way to enjoy a few hours.
ENTRANCE
Guests staying in rooms do not pay any entrance fee. A 50-peso entrance fee is charged to people who only want to pass through the Resort to get to the beach and not stay in the Resort.
COTTAGE (Bamboo Hut)
We have only ONE(1) COTTAGE, and it is for our Room Guests to use at no charge. We may rent the cottage/hut when not used by room guests, but only for day use and we do not book the hut in advance. You just have to ask the Manager (Toy) when you go to the Resort if it is available. The rate depends on how many people and how much time the hut will be used (usually about 700-1,000 pesos).
DEPOSIT
Room reservation requires a non-refundable 1,000-Peso Deposit per room per night which is forfeited if reservation is cancelled. Instructions for sending the deposit through Palawan, MLhuillier, PayPal or Bank Transfer will be provided upon booking. Sorry, we cannot accept Gcash, or credit/debit cards. We temporarily will hold your room(s) once you commit to book, and we will confirm your reservation upon receipt of the deposit. Of course, the deposit counts towards the total for the room(s). The balance will be paid with cash or bank transfer at check-in. The rates are the same for Walk-ins, who are always welcome when we have a vacancy.
