There’s something special about stepping into The Cave. 🗿

Built mostly from bamboo and amakan, this space is our little tribute to Filipino craftsmanship. These are the same timeless materials our ancestors used to build homes that stood strong and blended beautifully with nature. 🇵🇭✨

What makes it even more meaningful is that The Cave was built by Kuya Jojo, our in-house caretaker and all-around guy. 👷‍♂️🛠️ With his skill, patience, and hard work, he transformed simple heritage materials into a space where guests can relax, share stories, and create lasting memories.

Every bamboo and woven wall carries a sense of nostalgia. It reminds us that the simplest things often create the warmest memories. Sitting here feels like going back to a slower, more meaningful time—where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and life was beautifully uncomplicated. 🍃☕🔥

We’re proud to keep a piece of our Filipino heritage alive at Elaé Camp, while also showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication of people like Kuya Jojo. ❤️🇵🇭
