Typhoon UWAN is a powerful and life-threatening storm expected to bring severe, inclement weather—including destructive typhoon-force winds, torrential rainfall, and dangerous storm surges—to Pagudpud and the entire Northern Ilocos Region over the next 12 to 24 hours. All residents and the staff of Evangeline Resort are under an immediate safety alert: you must seek and remain in a reinforced shelter, complete all emergency preparations, and follow any mandatory evacuation orders from local authorities without delay. Be prepared for widespread flash flooding, severe coastal inundation, power outages, and landslides in mountainous or low-lying areas, and remember that no travel is safe during the passage of the storm.
