Hello Every One,particularly in surrounding towns and barangays in Misamis Occidental.Good afternoon,po..
I'm coming with this short statement in response to many calls i have received and inquiries thru messenger,po. " If we are closed or temporarily closed for some reason." We are OPEN po and we Welcome you All with big, open hearts beaming with gladness, your presence po at the Beach.
The truth of the matter po is: We've never been "Close nor closing our doors" to beachgoers. Due to a derective from LGU of Panaon on ASF (African Swine Fever outbreak) severely affecting pig farming in nearby towns of Panaon, we received guidelines from DOH- LGU, local unit of Panaon town. They are securing measures to curb the spread of the disease, thus, the LGU of Panaon, tasked some of their Health units to conduct heatlh watch inspections on all those who are carrying pork meat. Thus, all Beach-goers are being subjected to Inspection to ensure their health safety. Only pork meats are being put to stringent inspection as of this moment..
Poultry meats and seafoods are not affected.. Those who wish to spend a day at the Beach carrying with them the ever famous lechon is required to present a "Certification as them the grower and this certification must bear validatoon by the Barangay Local health unit that the pork meat they are bringing along is safe, healthy and the area-place where the pork meat came from is free of ASF. Presently, it is also required that said Certification must likewise be validated by DOH in the Region where the pork originates.
