Early this year, we have switched from providing mini plastic toiletries to bulk dispensers available in our private and shared bathrooms and toilets. We still get several bad reviews from guests complaining that we don't provide the tiny plastic toiletries, so we would like to share once again to please be aware that billions of these tiny plastic toiletries are unceremoniously dumped in our ocean and landfills all over the world each year. Fortunately, many big hotels chains are FINALLY BANNING MINI PLASTIC TOILETRIES too! We've posted this before, and we're posting it again. Every time we clean the beach near our inn, we find a disgusting amount of plastic trash including toothbrushes - HUNDREDS OF THEM! Many are also single-use toothbrushes from hotels. We request our guests to PLEASE, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE TOOTHBRUSHES WHEN YOU TRAVEL to avoid more plastic trash going to our beaches, oceans, and landfills! Thank you so much.
