Today marks the 2nd month since typhoon Odette landed the island of Bohol and left memories that this generation will never forget. This year also marks 2nd year since Covid19 changed so much on how we view things and how we used to live. With the opening of Philippine border for foreign guests and tourists, a new light and beginning is seen. With this we are receiving an increase of inquiries in the hostel. We are sorry to inform you guys that we are still gathering strength to start over after typhoon Odette and the pandemic. We still don’t have electricity and with an unstable phone signal. As much as we want to accommodate you, we are still temporarily close and aiming to come back stronger. We wanted to send our gratitude to people and individuals, guests and friends who extended help,kindness and concerns. Truly we know what is family and who our friends are when we are at our lowest. We will for sure see you soon! Sending love and light to everyone who are still recovering. We will RECOVER! 🙏❤️🦋🌴🌻🎋🌬⛈🌈🌞

We are inviting everyone to come and join this event . Food not Bombs Panglao volunteers are going to display some of their handy-crafts and some of their sale will be donated directly to Food not Bombs Panglao. You buy stuff at the same time you help people. We need everyone's support. 💚🙏
There will be an entrance fee 150php consumable for a drinks.

Finally we did food relief and feeding activity in Barangay Cambacay and Rosariohan Batuan. It has been a gloomy week over Batuan but gave us sun during the activity, very thankful for that.

We shared food relief (rice, eggs, monggo beans, dried noodles and spices) to 50 individuals and 150+ kids and adults enjoyed the food we prepared (spaghetti, pancake, maja blanca, vege balls, buko gulaman and orange juice)

To all the volunteers and donors who came up to Batuan Hammocks from Panglao, your presence light up the faces of those who benefit your generosity. To my hammock guests and friends who donated, you know who you are, you are all legends!!! The locals really appreciate your help.

The smiles and thank you’s of the locals motivates us to continue this work and this is not possible without your continuous support and generosity.

Personally I’m raising funds not just to continue this feeding activity but also to encourage others to help the less fortunate.
