Travelers shall no longer be required to undergo COVID-19 testing except if the local government unit of destination will make testing as a requirement prior to travel, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.

Testing will be limited to RT-PCR test. In addition, travelers shall no longer undergo quarantine unless they exhibit symptoms upon arrival at the LGU of destination.

Authorities shall continue to strictly implement the minimum public health standards, such as physical distancing, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, and wearing of face masks and face shields across all settings. | via Julie Aurelio/INQUIRER

New IATF protocols for international arrivals effective Feb 01, 2021

The Philippine government has lifted the ban on travelers from over 30 countries and regions effective today, February 01, 2021, allowing Filipino citizens and foreign nationals to enter, subject to conditions.

In compliance with the latest resolution released by the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF), passengers flying to the Philippines will be required to undergo RT-PCR testing on their 6th day of quarantine from date of arrival. Pre-register before your departure for mandatory swab testing via links below:

• Non-OFWs/ROFs and Foreign Nationals - bit.ly/ECIFall
