This morning, my daughter and I made pancakes together. 🥞

There was spilled milk, eggs that didn't crack properly, flour everywhere, and our dining table became an absolute mess.

More than once, I almost said, "Anak, ako na lang." 😅

Kasi, aminin natin, that's what we do as moms.

We step in because it's faster.
We take over because it's cleaner.
We fix things because we know how.

But this morning, I stopped myself.

What if the mess is part of the lesson?

So I let her stir. I let her crack another egg. I let her do it her way, kahit alam kong mas madadagdagan ang lilinisin ko mamaya.

Then I looked at her.

She was so focused. So proud of herself.

And I realized... maybe this is how God parents us too.

He could do everything for us. He could stop us from making mistakes. But instead, He patiently lets us learn, gently guides us, and stays with us through every messy season. Not because He wants us to struggle, but because He knows who we're becoming.

As moms, we're often so hard on ourselves.

We remember the times we lost our patience.
The moments we felt we weren't enough.
The days that felt like one big mess.

But maybe our children won't remember the perfectly clean table.

Maybe they'll remember that we let them try.
That we believed in them.
That we were present.

In the end, our pancakes turned out just fine.

And the honey? That was my favorite part. 🍯

It reminded me that God has a way of bringing sweetness even after the mess.

So mama, if today feels messy, don't be too hard on yourself.

Hindi mo kailangang maging perfect para maging mabuting nanay.

Sometimes, the little messes we want to avoid become the moments our children will remember the most. And by God's grace, those same moments are shaping them... and us. 🤍

Ending the day with a full and grateful heart. 💛

After a meaningful day at Moms Just Wanna Have Funds, I got to end it with the very heart and inspiration behind Cheerful Mama, my family.

Today wasn't just about organizing an event. It reminded me to be even more intentional with the people who matter most. Every opportunity I pursue, every event I create, and every dream I build is ultimately for them. They are my reason, my motivation, and my greatest blessing.

A special thank you to Irene's Home-baked Goodies for creating the beautiful customized Moms Just Wanna Have Funds cake. It was such a thoughtful surprise and the perfect way to bring a piece of today's celebration home.

Seeing my daughter light up with excitement when she saw the cake made my heart so happy. 🥹💛 She absolutely loved it, and I'm so grateful that I got to share a part of today's experience with her through something so special. It reminded me that while she may not always see everything that goes into building this dream, she gets to celebrate the milestones with me and that means everything.

Here's to building dreams with purpose, celebrating every milestone, and always making time for the people who inspire us to keep going. 💛

Thank You for Being Part of Moms Just Wanna Have Funds! 💛

Our hearts are full!

To every mom who joined us, thank you for choosing to spend your Saturday with us. Thank you for your enthusiasm, participation, and for staying with us until the very end even as our program went beyond the scheduled time. Your patience and presence meant so much to us.

We hope you left with more than just giveaways and photos. We hope you gained new insights, meaningful connections, fresh opportunities, and the confidence to keep pursuing your dreams.

This event was born from an advocacy to create a space where moms can learn, grow, and empower one another. Seeing all of you engage, ask questions, cheer each other on, and build new friendships reminded us why this mission matters.
