We would like to clarify and inform the public that D’Siblings Resort has no involvement or connection with any issue or controversy related to the PathFit 3 swimming lessons allegedly conducted by an instructor from Southern Masbate Roosevelt College (SMRC).

Our resort’s role is limited only to providing accommodation and venue rental for guests or adults who directly coordinate with us. We have no agreement or partnership with any school or instructor regarding swimming classes or related activities.

It has come to our attention that our resort name and photos were used in an online post or article without our knowledge or consent, and in a way that may mislead the public into believing that D’Siblings Resort is involved in the matter.

We strongly advise the person(s) who posted or shared such content to immediately remove any mention or image of D’Siblings Resort. Unauthorized use of our business name, images, or likeness in misleading publications is a violation of Philippine law and may result in legal action.

Under:

Article 19–21 of the Civil Code, acts done in bad faith or that cause harm to others may lead to civil liability for damages;

Article 353–355 of the Revised Penal Code and Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), posting false or damaging information online may constitute libel or cyber libel;

Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code), using images or business names without consent may be deemed copyright or trademark infringement.

We value our reputation as a peaceful and family-friendly resort. Please be guided accordingly and respect our rights as a legitimate business.
