Self isolation #13: I thought I'd seen everything

My neighbour on the island was in PBarton yesterday.

Policeman: Wear a mask!
Neighbour: (whips out this beauty)
Policeman: That is a size B cup bra.
Neighbour: My wife made it for me.

*You know you are in good hands when an enforcement officer knows a B cup from his C cup at ten paces.

Not so self isolation #12: Getting water and supplies.

The good news is that we have had no reports of any covid19 infections or symptoms. We have home self isolation for most of us but there is relative movement to get essential supplies around PB but please wear a mask.

Self isolation #3

Capsalay Island is now quarantine island. One of the ladies who lives here worked at the hotel in Port Barton where a tourist was found to have C19. Everyone on social distancing and self isolation. We cannot go to PB and PB on strict lockdown.

What will we do for fresh veg and fruit?

The erm..fruits of my foraging resulted in cashew fruits with nuts, green mangoes, papaya and tamarind. Scurvy held at bay...

Tropical Island Glamping & Daytrips

Glamping Season From January To April

Island glamping on the nearest island to Port Barton. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included. Minimum two nights stay. Neighbouring islands are a hop away and snorkelling equipment use included; explore Fantastic and Smart Reef at the beach. There is a paddle boat for hire to glampers during the day.

Choose from Coleman tents for two or the Deluxe Canvas Safari tents. All tents housed under a canopy. The campsite is very family friendly and clean. Where the owner lives on the property and staff are always on hand.

With limited electricity (generator on from 6.30 pm until 10.00 pm) we have no refrigeration. Seafood is bought and cooked on the day. Everything is fresh and local as much as possible. A garden market planted with herbs and vegetables is on its way at the site.
