Friend or food?

The trevally fish locally called Talakitok or Maliputo is a common fish in the Philppines. However, due to dwindling number of this specie steps are made to catch not too small not too big ( breeder size) ones. They are generally harmless fish, but may turn aggressive in the presence of food. So stay of their way when feeding!

Casa Alta Azul is frequented by guests who prefer privacy and exclusivity. One favorite spot is the resort's private beach front, The Rock Tree Beach. A stone stairway/footpath leads you directly from the house to the beach and back up. From there you can enjoy snorkelling, swimming, kayaking, or simply just lay back and enjoy the crisp clean air and water.

The Purple Sea Slug, Hypselodoris bullocki, is a natural predators that are not necessarily reef safe. They feature a gorgeous sleek purple body with white outlines and orange antennas. They can be great members of a clean-up crew as they can sometimes eat algae.
