Sea snake encounters look dramatic - but the rule is simple: respect, space, calm 🐍🤿

The striped sea snake / sea krait is venomous, but it’s not "hunting" divers. It moves through the reef to search for food, navigate coral spaces, and eventually return to the surface to breathe.

For divers, the best reaction is not panic and not show curiosity with your hands. Just stay still, give it room, don’t touch, don’t chase, and never block its path and observe 😍

That’s how we enjoy the wilder side of Puerto Galera diving - safely, respectfully, and with the reef in charge.
