Araw ng Taraw – March 26, 2026

Our Araw ng Taraw celebration began with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass led by Rev. Fr. Daven Castillo, OSJ of Santuario de San Jose Marello, setting the tone for a day of gratitude and community spirit.

The celebration continued with a River Clean-Up, bringing together the public and private tourism sectors and community-based sustainable tourism groups to show care for the Puerto Princesa Underground River. This was followed by an exciting Cooking Contest, highlighting local flavors and culinary creativity.

As One Daluyon, we are proud to advocate sustainable tourism and make it a part of our CSR initiatives by actively participating in activities like this.

Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort proudly supports initiatives that connect education with real-world experience. On March 17, 2026, we were honored to take part in the Preliminary Defense of the Tourism and Hospitality Marketing Class for 3rd Year (3TOM1) Tourism Management students of UST—where ideas met industry insights.

Through our Sales and Marketing Specialist, Ms. Jewel Luistro, a proud UST Tourism Management graduate (Batch 2022), we shared practical knowledge in tourism operations and destination marketing—empowering future professionals to turn concepts into impactful strategies. A beautiful day filled with joy, laughter, and renewed faith!

Our morning began with a delightful breakfast experience, highlighted by the lively Oh Daluyon Dance performed by the Daluyon Cultural Performing Arts—our very own talented cultural dancers—alongside fun-filled games for adults that brought smiles to everyone around.

The celebration continued with exciting moments for the little ones through Easter Egg Hunting and the ever-favorite Pabitin, creating memories full of happiness and wonder, with the support and enthusiasm of our One Daluyon Staff.

We concluded this meaningful day with an Easter Sunday Mass, where everyone celebrated the renewal of faith, rejection of sin, and reaffirmation of their commitment to God. It was a powerful reminder of new life in Christ, reflecting the joy of the Resurrection and filling hearts with hope, love, and new beginnings.

In the silence, we do not see Him, and yet we are invited to believe. This is the quiet of Black Saturday—a sacred pause where faith is not based on sight, but on trust.

We sit in the stillness, carrying our own uncertainties, fears, and waiting. And in this waiting, we are reminded that God’s work continues even in the unseen. The tomb may seem closed, hope may feel distant, but His promise remains alive.

Good Friday Reflection

On this solemn day, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross—a love so deep that it chose suffering to bring us salvation. Good Friday reminds us that in moments of pain, silence, and darkness, God is still present.

May we take this time to reflect on our own lives—our struggles, our shortcomings, and our need for grace. Just as Christ carried His cross, we too are called to carry ours with faith, trusting that beyond suffering lies hope and new life.
