I came across one review done 3 mos ago in our booking.com site listing which catched my attention esp because of it's catchy and funny subject title and I couldn't thank this anonymous guest enough for appreciating everything we put through to make our guests' stay a wonderful experience @ Orokasa.

Reviews like this which are our majority rating range make it hard to comprehend why there are guests giving us the lowest rating of 1-3( I counted 3 against 30) thus impacting our overall rating big time, because we host our guests in the same place and we treat them the same level of services and offer them the same available amenities so 99% rating gap is incomprehensible. We respect every review but making us look that we are cheating our guests or we are not transparent is not fair. Majority if not all negative reviews are reiterated in our site description so guests are aware of what they can expect.

Pls read the site description well. We made sure to mention everything you can expect in our humble place where less is more ( we practically provide for you everything we can even without the luxury of space.)

●●●We are animals lovers and yes we have dogs and cats if you are not animal lovers and you abhor a slight odor of animals nor noise and you cant tolerate them you shouldn't have booked with us coz we'd rather prefer to be without guests than you giving us a low rating because of our dear pets, they are part of our family and we mentioned that in our listing.

●●●Our bnb is situated in the 3rd floor ( attic) and to maintain our privacy we added a spiral staircase leading to the 3rd floor but if the guests would request to use our stairway inside we allow or even offer them to use it esp if it's raining for their safety. So if you are a senior and afraid of heigths why did you book with us we'd rather prefer you didn't book with us than you giving us a low rating because of the staircase and the attic location coz we mentioned that in our listing.

●●●Our airbnb is Japanese inspired hence the beds and tables are low and as per Japanese standards if you prefer normal beds we have available dining area in out garage that can accommodate 12 people so we'd rather prefer you didn't book with us than you giving us a low rating because of our available beds and tables coz it's within our theme and we have available option of your preference.
