The Puerto Princesa City Incident Management Team (IMT) announced today that starting tomorrow, March 2, Puerto Princesa City will be open to all inbound passengers.

Anyone is allowed to enter the city regardless of vaccination status or residency. However, passengers need to undergo an on-site health assessment, and everyone is expecting to cooperate.

The IMT also reminds citizens that basic health protocols should be observed at all times despite these lenient changes.

We are receiving reports from several sources that Puerto Princesa City still has no electricity, no water supply in most areas due to issue with Irawan Water Shed, and no network signal for Globe, Smart, PLDT.

Several roads are not passable between Puerto Princesa City to Roxas, Palawan, particularly from Babuyan (Maoyon) Bridge in San Rafael to Langongan.

There are also unverified reports of deaths due to landslide.

Domestic flights had been cancelled to and from Puerto Princesa City, including seaports in Palawan until further notice.
