JUST IN: Atty. Teodoro Jose Matta of the Palawan provincial government said Sunday afternoon that Philippine Airlines (PAL), Cebu Pacific, and Airswift have agreed to provide flights for stranded passengers at the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPIA).
He said PAL will start fetching the remaining outbound passengers Sunday, March 15. It will continue with two flights a day until all have been flown out of the city.
Airswift will bring passengers to Clark, Pampanga, and PAL to Cebu.
"Ang PAL nag-commit na ng two flights, pati ang Airswift. Manggagaling ng Clark at saka ng Cebu papunta ng Puerto. Ok na yon, nag-commit na sila, nakausap na namin. Ang Cebu Pacific two flights na din," Matta said.
Passengers that will take the services of the three airlines will have to pay their tickets.
