Couldn’t sleep one night, so I started sketching a gown in my mind and this Modern Filipiniana mermaid gown came to life.

I wanted to celebrate our Filipino culture, but in a more elevated, modern way. I’m not an expert designer, I simply create based on how I imagine my clients would feel wearing my gowns: confident, beautiful, and truly seen.

Everything I design starts as random ideas in my head, then I piece them together and somehow, they turn into something like this.
