From one shared purpose to the promise of many new beginnings. 🌱🤍

The skies cleared on July 30, 2026, just in time to set the stage for the momentous sampaguita planting activity of Eastwood Richmonde Hotel at the UP Asian Institute of Tourism.

Together with the UP AIT faculty, the NSTP graduating class, and the corporate leaders and hotel representatives of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, we planted over 200 sampaguita seedlings as a symbol of our shared commitment to preserving our nation’s heritage, promoting environmental stewardship, and keeping the spirit of Filipino hospitality alive.

Our heartfelt thanks to UP AIT Dean Giovanni Legaspi for his enthusiastic support of this initiative and to UP Diliman Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts Director Monica Santos for participating in our program. We are also very grateful for the valuable contributions of our current batch of interns from UP AIT who helped make the activity a success.

As these sampaguita plants take root and bloom in the years ahead, may they stand as lasting reminders that meaningful partnerships can cultivate enduring legacies. We look forward to more opportunities to instill in future generations love for our country and our culture through the sampaguita.
