H World Surf Camp is a world-class surfing destination facing the Pacific Ocean and about 3 hours’ drive from Metro Manila (145 kilometers). The surf camp fronting the Buckley’s Point formerly called Barracuda by the locals is a solid right-hander pointbreak with a shallow rocky bottom, ideal for the intermediate and expert level surfers where the perfect barreling wave is formed when the condition is right.

Groundswell build:

• Expect a gradual lift: 2–3 ft Saturday, possibly 3–5 ft by Sunday-Monday if 92W tightens up near 20-25 knots (models show a medium chance of that). Meteoblue notes for Quezon that long swell waves arrive after a few days of onshore wind, especially when wind eases — that's the classic Real setup.

Surf call:

• Beginners: tomorrow morning should stay fun-size (waist-high max), but watch the tide push.

• Experienced: keep boards ready Sunday — if 92W holds together past the Marianas, Real could see its first real typhoon-fed groundswell of the season.
