A simple wooden deck, a bench built for two, and the vast, uncomplicated horizon of the West Coast. We often talk about spaces made with intention, but the best spots on the farm are the ones that invite you to do absolutely nothing at all. To just sit. To watch the light change on the water from gold to blinding silver, and to listen to the tide working its way up the sand.

An afternoon in the garden.

There is a particular satisfaction in the weight of a harvest. Today, it is the slender sitaw and the velvet-skinned okra making their way into our baskets.

Among the textured leaves, the okra flower commanded our attention, a delicate, cream-colored bloom with a deep crimson heart, proving that the garden offers as much to the eyes as it does to the table.

A seat by the water 🌿

Life on the west coast is rooted in the soil and rested by the sea. On our pond platform, those two worlds meet, a place where the wild yellow flowers of the peanut grass and the lush forest ferns provide a soft, green frame to the water’s edge.

We welcome you to take up a rod and spend an hour (or three) in the pursuit of Tilapia. It is an invitation to move away from the noise and back toward the grounding intention of the farm.
