📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PAMITINAN PROTECTED LANDSCAPE
Please be advised that Pamitinan Protected Landscape (PPL) remains temporarily CLOSED to visitors as the Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) continues its ongoing cleanup operations, road repairs, and campsite maintenance within the protected area.
During a recent site assessment conducted by PAMO personnel together with tour guides, cracks were observed in the summit area. Considering that PPL is a rockslide-prone area, further assessment and the implementation of necessary safety measures are currently being undertaken to ensure the safety of visitors, tour guides, and personnel.
🔴 For everyone’s safety, please refrain from entering or conducting tourism activities within PPL until further notice.
The public will be officially informed once the area has been declared safe and ready for reopening.
We sincerely thank everyone for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our visitors and the protection of the protected area.
Safety remains our priority.
