TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF NATURE AND ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES IN MONTALBAN until further notice due to the threat posed by Tropical Storm “Maymay” (Kujira).
In the interest of public safety and upon the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and approval from the MDRRMC chaired by our Local Chief Executive - Hon. Ronnie S. Evangelista through the Municipal Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department (MTCAD) announces the temporary suspension of all nature- and adventure-based tourism activities in the Municipality of Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal, effective tonight dated August 5, 2026 - Wednesday, until further notice due to the potential effects of Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" (Kujira)
This includes trekking, hiking, camping, caving, river activities, waterfalls, and other outdoor tourism and adventure activities.
The safety and well-being of our residents, visitors, tourism workers, and stakeholders remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to monitor official weather advisories and strictly follow the directives of local authorities.
