El Galleon Resort sits on the largest area of beachfront property in the area. Located on Small La Laguna Beach, Puerto Galera, Asia Divers and El Galleon Dive Resort and have thirty air-conditioned rooms that blend into the tropical hillside, some rooms having majestic views of Sabang Bay and Small Lalaguna Beach. Our restaurant extends to the water’s edge offering a great value in European and local cuisine. The dive facility is very spacious and well designed for divers needs. We have a diving platform with a large pontoon where boats can easily dock making it easy for guests to get on and off the boats. Divers have their own crate for storage in a spacious area and for all you photographers, there is a dedicated camera room and camera rinse tanks. You will be well looked after by the experienced crew who are there to help you with anything you may need. Asia Divers offers PADI courses from Bubble Maker for the kids, Discover Scuba, Open Water all the way up though to instructor level courses. Daily diving includes five scheduled daily dives: 8:00h, 10:30h, 13:30h, 16:00h and 18:00 (night) with a choice of dive sites at each time. Most dives are with six or fewer people using local Bangka (outrigger) boats and two speed boats. There is full range of diving equipment for rental and sale.

The Puerto Galera harbor is breathtaking, with lots of small coves within the bay, turquoise water, magnificent mangrove areas, small sandy beaches and hillsides covered with coconut trees. It’s perfect for any explorer or nature lover. 😍💦

Puerto Galera bay is known as the Port of Galleons, because the Spanish galleons and Chinese traders then would hide from typhoons here and use its banks. Today, it’s well-known among tourists for its numerous pocket beaches and many snorkeling and scuba diving spots.⚓

Did you know that Puerto Galera is the only bay in the Philippines listed in the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World? 💙💜💚
