As we step back from managing Lolo Dad’s Cabin, we just want to say thank you to everyone who stayed with us and made this place feel alive.

From first-time Sagada visitors to returning guests, your stories, laughter, and quiet moments by the bonfire meant more than you know.

Lolo Dad’s Cabin will soon welcome guests again under new management and page, and we wish them nothing but the best as they continue its story.

From city life to mountain life, I understood that Sagada isn’t expensive — logistics are.

When I returned home in late 2018 after almost a decade in Manila, I also thought the prices here were “expensive.”

But living here — running a household and a business — opened my eyes. A lot suddenly made sense.

This post isn’t to argue.
It’s to give perspective —
so visitors understand us better,
and locals feel heard.

We’re all just trying to sustain life here while welcoming you with the best Sagada experience.

Let’s support the community the same way we support the views, the culture, and the peace we come here for.

The storm left its mark — fallen trees and poles along the road going up to our place.

Thanks to the hard work of MOPRECO and all the other teams and volunteers, the road is now clear, even though power is still out in our area.

We know many of you are working double time, doing your best for all of us, and we truly appreciate it.

Clean sheets, hot and cold showers, duvets, and mink blankets that make you question your 4 AM sunrise tour alarm. 😅
(Pero wag magpakatamad! Naghihintay na si kuya guide at shuttle!)

Each unit fits up to 5 pax — with 1 queen bed, 1 double floor bed, and 1 single floor bed.
Comes with a hot and cold shower and a water dispenser with drinking water provided.
