The Sagada Municipal Tourism Office is set to strictly enforce guiding, entry, and sanitation policies across tourism sites in Sagada.
🚫 NO ID, NO OR, NO ENTRY
All guides must wear their LGU-issued IDs, while tourists are required to present their official receipt (OR) for registration. This ensures safety, accountability, and protection against unauthorized guiding.
📚 GUIDE COMPLIANCE
Guides operating under provisional permits must submit their required training certificates on or before June 30. Failure to comply will result in permit revocation.
🧼 SANITATION MONITORING
The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) and Rural Health Unit (RHU) will conduct inspections on food vendors and accommodation establishments to ensure proper sanitation and food safety standards.
📍 BLUE SOIL ENTRY UPDATE
The Gimpeng entrance is now the only authorized entry point to Blue Soil. All other access points are closed, and entry remains strictly guided only.
These measures aim to protect cultural sites, ensure visitor safety, and uphold responsible tourism practices.
