Lunch for today is Inihaw na Liempo, Tulingan in Gata and Pili. From what we know, Catanduanes is one of the very few places where the flesh of the Pili fruit is eaten. It is blanched in hot water for a few minutes and is peeled. Usually dipped in "kuyog", a fermented fish side dish. Rice we serve is from our own palayans and has not been bleached 😊

"I found this resort purely by chance and I have no other word to describe it other than perfect. The room, facilities, amenities are all great as it’s still very new. The owner and caretakers treated us like friends instead of just guests. The beach is peaceful, serene, yet still exciting because of kayaks and snorkeling equipment available to use. The surroundings, for us who travelled with a toddler, was perfect learning about animals (there are plenty - from dogs to spiders and starfish and hermit crabs) and nature. Catanduanes has so much more to offer if you have time to explore, but even just staying in Blue Horizon is worth taking a flight over to this wonderful island. We would like to thank Kuya Onyo & his family and of course Sir Teng for our super memorable stay. All the best! We will definitely come back ❤️"
