There was a time when our trash dumpsite for liwliwa was nearby aeta settlement. In fact, just maybe a few hundred meters from the waterfalls!(we spot a sign now that denr has ordered it closed). You keep the trash off the ocean and shore, pero there is no other place to dispose it, but to use other areas, in this case bundok. 8 yrs ago, we had been in discussion with LGu about trash, and if we dont have a local site, the option is to transport it to pampanga where there is a waste management facility and def, not within means nor practical. Tourist arrivals have exponentially balloned more than 10x, no controls. If we really care about the welfare, lets not wait for a policy.. Asa atin lng ang sagot.
