More than just being the Philippines’ National Flower (declared in 1934), the sampaguita is also a symbol of devotion, purity, fidelity, and divine hope. Celebrated for its sweet scent and often used for garlands, it has a deep connection to our culture. Our Mubadala DC Open champion, Alex Eala, would wear her sampaguita hair tie during high-profile matches as a tribute to her heritage. The sampaguita on our farm coincidentally blooms as you secure your first WTA win. Congratulations, Alex!

Guinea fowls prefer running over flying because they are naturally ground-dwelling (terrestrial) birds. They can easily walk over 6 miles (10 km) a day just to forage for food. Because their diet consists of ticks, beetles, seeds, and small reptiles found in the grass, staying on foot keeps them close to their food source.
