thich nhat hanh introduced me to buddhism when i first read the “heart of buddha’s teachings”. on our last day in hue, we visited his root temple. the place where he was ordained as a monk at seventeen. to be there in stillness, to meditate where he once sit as a young novice felt deeply grounding. as if i was with him in that space transcending the concept of time.
