Dear Guests,

In compliance with the health guidelines set by the Department of Health along with the Department of Tourism, kindly allow our team at the reception to take your temperature before you are officially checked-in. The process will be administered using a temperature gun and it will be quick, safe, and sanitary.

This extra safety measure will not only guarantee that all of our guests inside our shared dorms are healthy but also impart peace of mind to all parties involved so that we may all enjoy our stay here in La Union.

The less you have, the better. We've stripped everything down to the bare basics to avoid excess-- especially waste.

But we also know that the entire world is still transitioning toward a more mindful and minimalist means of living. Meanwhile, the least we can do is make things easier and a little better. Our dorms have these "ecobricks" for small-sized plastic waste. Once full and properly stuffed, these bricks are sent over to where they can be turned into materials for minor construction projects.

Perhaps, next time, you can skip the sachets.

Before booking, please go over this checklist of house rules for all dorm guests.

If you agree with every single item then you may proceed to book and stay with us.

I will be mindful of my energy while I am here. I will bring only a positive and peaceful vibe because my mood affects others around me.

I will be respectful of personal space. I will not use or take beds, pillows, towels, and other belongings that are not mine.

I will be responsible for keeping my belongings safe. I will bring my own padlock for the provided locker. I will not leave gadgets unattended while charging.

I will be mindful of the amount of waste I produce while staying in the dorms. I will bring my own tumbler for water refills. I will avoid single-use plastic items.

I will be mindful of noise especially when unpacking and packing. If I need to pack my belongings, I will do so before 9pm so I do not disturb other guests while they rest.

I will set my phone to silent mode when I am in the dorms. I will use headphones when I am watching videos, playing games, or listening to music.

I will set an alarm (vibrate or gentle sounds preferred) for 8am onward only. If I need to wake up earlier, I will request the front desk for a wake-up call.

I will answer phone calls outside of the dorms. Other guests don’t need to listen to my conversation.

I will be mindful of turning the lights on/off. Only reading lights are allowed from 11pm to 7am. I will turn the lights off when nobody else is using them.

I will be mindful of the time I enter/exit the dorms so I don’t disturb other guests.

I will take extra care not to let sand into the dorms, beds, and restrooms. I will use the foot wash provided outside before entering the premises.

I will not smoke/vape inside the dorms or restrooms. A smoking area is provided downstairs.

I will not eat or drink inside the dorms to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms. If I want to eat/drink, I will use the common area provided or order from the Clean Beach cafe below.

I will be mindful of spraying strong scents while inside the dorms as these may trigger allergies.

I will be mindful of my personal hygiene while staying in the dorms.

I will not bring or use illegal substances while staying in the dorms.

I will not engage in sexual activity while staying in the dorms because it is disrespectful of others’ right to the shared space. If you prefer to have a romantic night, please book a private room.

I fully understand that if I disobey these dorm policies, the management reserves the right to ask me to leave despite any payment made and/or report me to the police.
