It’s Officially Turtle Nesting Season in La Union! 🐢🌊
Last night Paw Patrol - discovered a sea turtle nest at Isla Bonita Ili Sur, San Juan, La Union, 🥚
Inside the nest were more than 100 healthy eggs, now safely relocated to the hatchery where they’ll be protected and monitored until they hatch. 💙
Each nest is a reminder of how vital our shores are for these amazing sea turtles - and how everyone plays a role in keeping them safe. 🌎
First hatchlings of the season are expected to emerge around December 4! 🐢
As we celebrate the return of our nesting turtles, let’s do our part to keep our beaches safe and turtle-friendly:
