A very successful man was walking and passed by people talking about how lucky he was to be blessed by God. He slowed down and said, "Yes, I was indeed blessed by God, but definitely not by luck". They weren't expecting him to catch their conversation. The man turned around before he stopped, and as he was slowly getting closer, he told them, "When I was young, my father brought me to go to the top of a hill to catch the sunrise." They looked at each other, having no idea what the man was saying. The man then continued, "I was complaining all through the hike, and my father was almost dragging me the whole time. I even got a few bruises when I slipped through some rocks on the way to the top since it was still dark. I only stopped crying when I witnessed the curtain of light making its way to us from the horizon. As we were making a couple more steps to the top, my father told me, 'Your life will get so hard that it'll bring you down, and you wouldn't see any other option but to give up. No one will be there to pull and drag you as I did with you earlier. Always remember this when you're faced with a challenge, God's promise to a beautiful sunrise are only for those who went their way through the darkness awake"
